We had our first Home Study visit today. For all of you who said it would be nothing to worry about, you were right. It was a very pleasant experience for us and everything went very well. From this point, the social worker will write up her home study report. After that is complete, we will get working very hard on putting together a dossier (after our second "fee" that is). Click HERE for the definition of dossier. Basically, it's more information about us than we would need to be hired by the FBI. That dossier will then be sent to Ethiopia before we will receive a referral. We're still looking at a few months before the home study report is done and the dossier is complete.
Today was a large hurdle and a milestone event for this process. We would like to thank all of you for your prayers on this home study.
