Praise be to God!!!

Show Hope is an organization created by Steven Curtis Chapman to help orphans and assist with adoptions. We applied to several organizations for grants and loans to help with the adoption process. Today we received a letter from Show Hope. The first paragraph follows:

"On behalf of Show Hope and the donors who make our grants possible, we rejoice with your family as you step out in faith to experience the miracle of adoption. Thank for allowing us to be a small part of your adoption process...". So far, sounds like the other rejection letters we've received. But it continues, "...We are please to inform you that you have been awarded an adoption assistance grant in the amount of $3,000."

After reading this, you can't argue that God is not present and that He is not working in people's lives. It brings a tear to my eye to see what God is accomplishing in our lives. We have learned so much over this process and feel that this is the beginning of a relationship. After the adoption is complete, we are committed to helping to support these adoptions each and every year in any way we can.

I encourage you to support these organizations as you feel God would lead you. It is the support of people like you and me that organizations such as Show Hope can be used by God to bless the lives of others. You may visit Show Hope at their website at www.showhope.org.
