Sad News!

We have decided to decline our referral :( There was a discrepancy in his file. We have learned several lessons in the past week.....read through the referral file VERY carefully and pray, pray, pray. Use the 2 weeks to prayerfully consider the child presented to us. If we have questions, we must ASK THEM! We have also decided that in the future, we will not share the referral info (name, age, etc.) until we have offically accepted the child. This is because now we have to go back and try to explain what happened. We were just so excited and sure that he was THE one, that we didn't see the need to wait. We now see the need to wait! We have also learned how dedicated our agency is to its job, these kiddos, and the families. They responded to us very quickly, assured us of the next step, and comforted our decision. We are in great hands. Please pray for us. We have heavy hearts today and many tears were shed last night but we know God will bring our son to us in His time. We are so thankful for our friends and family.
