What an adventure and calling of God!

You might have noticed several things different about our blog. This is because of the recent changes in the direction God has chosen for us. God has lead us to a chubby cheeked boy in Uganda. He is about 4 years old and is living at the Suubi Project. We legally cannot post a picture....but we think he is very cute! We recently crossed paths with some dear friends from years ago that have adopted a beautiful girl from Uganda. After visiting with them and meeting some new friends, we felt God was changing the direction of our adoption. We will be traveling to Uganda in September to meet our boy and to meet with the lawyer that will be handling our case in country. We do not have a definite time line or a projected "gotcha day." However, we are hopeful that things will run smoothly and quickly. Please pray for a smooth process, financial funding, and safe travels. We are so thankful for our family and friends. We are very blessed to have such a strong support group. We promise to keep the blog more updated than in the past.......because we actually have news to share! Thanks for reading!
